The technological platform for the Green and Circular Economies From November 8th to 11th at Rimini Fiera

The green economy is awaited from Tuesday 8thNovember at Rimini Fiera, where the great technological showcase will focus on the aim of guiding Italian companies towards a “green” crossover.

ECOMONDO and KEY ENERGY are cutting the ribbon of the twentieth edition and this year will expand an expo showcase under the banner of two main points: climate change and circular economy.

The Rimini Fiera halls propose a system that promotes the economic paradigm connected with regeneration, instead of the end-of-life concept, by means of the use of renewable energy.

The entire expo centre is ready to welcome over 100,000 industry and trade visitors, 11,000 of whom will arrive from abroad, and 500 buyers from all over the world.

Exhibitors and visitors will be met by an event with an international profile, along with the results of a great job carried out in recent months, a world roadshow with 32 stops, during which Rimini Fiera accompanied the enterprises, spreading contents, promoting the value of Italian enterprises’ knowledge and technology in emerging economies.

To celebrate the twenty years since the first edition, Ecomondo has prepared an overview of the work done along with the enterprises, widespread experiences climaxing in the first European ExNovoMaterials exhibition.Visitors to Ecomondo will be able to grasp the current turning point that is changing the way in which material is used in the industrial world. Each material will be presented as what it is and what it can be:Paper, Aluminium, Wood, Glass, Plastic, Steel, Mineral Oil, Rubber, Compost and Bioplastic. In the centre, a space dedicated to packaging, an item that many materials have in common in the circular nature of the process going from waste to new products.

There will be theGlobal Water Expo section on the integrated water cycle, which will be full of contents and innovation, the new Monitoring & Control section which is growing, plus a focus on energy efficiency in industrial terms in the white evolution and applicative urban solutions in the Sustainable City area, a hub featuring the tangible procedure launched under the various profiles of efficiency, from energy to the building industry.

Alongside the expo contents, there will be those of the conferences, thanks to a calendar focused on the concrete promotion of secondary materials and the circular economy with the wide participation of representatives of the EuropeanCommission.

On the first two days, Ecomondo will host the States General of the Green Economy, promoted by the Sustainable Development Foundation led by Edo Ronchi, a true reference point for constructive networking between the enterprises and the Government.

Moreover, also as far as scientific contributions are concerned, hundreds of events will be programmed by the Technical Scientific boards led by Prof.Fabio Fava (ECOMONDO) and engineerGianni Silvestrini (Key Energy).

The expo will be enriched by even more proposals:KEY WIND, the key Italian event for companies in the wind energy sector; H2R Mobility for Sustainability with the large automobile brands and their avant-garde models:methane and LPG fuelled cars and electric or hybrid models.
