Turkey’s Leading Energy and Environment Fair and Conference “ICCI” 2018 Gathered the Whole Industry at One Stop!

ICCI 2018 Energy and Environment Fair and Conference organized by Sektörel Fuarcılık and supported by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources held in between 2 – 4 May in Istanbul.

Turkey’s energy industry has met energy diplomats at the Diplomatic Area, which has been established for the first time as part of the ICCI 2018.

One of the world’s fastest growing energy markets, Turkey has moved such strength to international arena thanks to ICCI 2018 Energy and Environment Fair and Conference.Organized by the cooperation of Deutsche Messe’s subsidiary Hannover Fairs Turkey and PennWell International and supported by Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the exhibition brought the industry’s leading national and international companies together in İstanbul. Deals were made on the Turkish energy industry at the Diplomatic Area, which was established for the first time this year at the exhibition with the participation of foreign consulates.

ICCI is an Essential Platform in Energy Investments in Turkey Underlining that the steps taken in Turkey for the energy industry offered great opportunities for the sector and these steps got their return in the best way possible at ICCI 2018, ICCI Board Chairman Alexander Kühnel and Board Member Glenn Ensor mentioned that; “Energy policies in Turkey have made it one of the most attractive countries in terms of investment.

As we express at every opportunity, Turkey is one of the world’s fastest growing energy markets. ICCI 2018 was an important international gathering to show the level Turkey has reached and the achievements it has made through the steps taken in energy industry. During the exhibition, we offered local and foreign producers, investors and hosted buyers many opportunities and industry professionals in particular showed great interest in the exhibition this year. The exhibition also created promising business networks and new import and export opportunities and stood out as the leading Energy event where conferences and bilateral business talks were held.”

Turkey Drives Its Energy to Diplomatic Area
ICCI, which brings together all energy components including production, transmission and distribution, had “Diplomatic Quarter Area” for the first time this year. Noting that intergovernmental talks were held and new agreements were signed with countries that are willing to invest in Turkey in this field, ICCI Board Chairman Alexander Kühnel and Board Member Glenn Ensor mentioned that; “Besides trade missions of countries like Brazil, Czechia, Greece, South Korea; their consular officers who are authorized to enter into international agreements were present at the exhibition. We hosted delegations from South Africa and Iran for energy investments. Also, Italy and Czechia attended the exhibition with their delegations.”

New trends of the industry met the visitors at the exhibition, where the exhibitors displayed “Renewable Energy, Cogeneration, Electricity Generation and Trade, Electricity Transmission Systems, Maintenance, Repair and Servicing of Energy Plants, Environmental Technologies, Smart Grids, Energy Storage, Energy Efficiency and Digitalization”. All main topics in the energy value chain were also discussed during the conferences that were organized during the exhibition. 25th edition of “ICCI” Energy and Environment Fair and Conference will be held in between 15 – 17 May 2019.
