seebaWIND to provide full maintenance for 40-megawatt wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt

seebaWIND Service GmbH will provide full maintenance for the Esperstedt-Obhausen wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt. The farm boasts 16 Fuhrländer FL2500 wind turbines with a total capacity of 40 megawatts. By winning this contract the vendor-independent service provider now has 90 per cent of this turbine type in Germany under contract.

The full maintenance contract begins on 1 January 2016, with a term of ten years and an extension option. In addition to 24/7 remote monitoring and comprehensive service, maintenance and repair work, including the main components, the package also includes the possibility to have site-specific optimisation measures. In this area, seebaWIND works closely together with the developers of the turbine type. “We are pleased that we can now intensify our cooperation with Rostock-based W2E Wind to Energy GmbH “, says seebaWIND managing director Holger Hämel.

seebaWIND impresses with its know-how and pricing

The operator of the wind farm is Obhausen-based JWP Jade Windpark GmbH  & Co. VI. Betriebs KG, which chose seebaWIND following a Europe-wide call for tenders. “In seebaWIND Service GmbH we have found a company that has the necessary know-how for the maintenance and repair of this sophisticated type of wind turbine”, says delighted wind farm managing director Oliver Nickel, adding: “As well as the pricing, we were also won over by the convincing deployment of personnel and the maintenance concept.”
