With the launch of Conserv Augmensheet sheet encapsulant, which has been specially developed for insulation and sealing of busbar and junction box areas in solar modules, RenewSys India has also introduced RenewSys reel-format encapsulants.

The encapsulant is supplied in reel format, allowing automatic feed-in on fully automated module production lines. RenewSys said this supports higher productivity and ensures consistent processing during manufacturing.

According to the company, Conserv Augmensheet is based on its Conserv encapsulant technology and is available in multiple material options, including ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyolefin elastomer (POE), and expanded polyethylene (EPE). Different EVA–POE–EVA layer combinations can also be produced to meet specific manufacturing needs.

RenewSys claimed that the design and processing of the product suppressed bubble generation during the lamination process and increased electrical insulation. The company also said that the encapsulant provided homogenous material flow, superior wet-out behaviour and enhanced long-term module reliability.

The Conserv Augmensheet was said to be available in widths between 30 mm and 100 mm, and could be customised to meet different module designs and manufacturing needs. It was claimed that the material was compatible with existing PV module production lines for glass-to-glass and glass-to-backsheet applications and was suitable for a variety of module structures and advanced cell technologies. The launch further expands RenewSys reel-format encapsulants into high-efficiency module production workflows.

“Conserv Augmensheet reflects our deep understanding of evolving module manufacturing challenges and our focus on practical, performance-driven innovation. Designed for automated production environments, it enables manufacturers to achieve higher productivity, improved quality, and consistent performance in high-efficiency solar modules,” said Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, RenewSys India. “With this launch, RenewSys becomes the only manufacturer in India to offer encapsulants in reel form, reinforcing our commitment to Make in India and globally competitive manufacturing.”
