Summit Energy Services and Schneider Energy Consulting, providers of oilfield drilling & completion supervision in the Rockies, have announced a definitive merger agreement.

This merger was formed to enhance our clients’ experience while strengthening our geographic footprint.  As a combined organization we have the ability to provide support with every aspect of the planning, permitting and execution process of oil & gas development.

Our staff of petroleum and facilities engineers can plan and permit a project, while our experienced field personnel can supervise all activities in a well’s life, including drilling, frac, wireline and drill out.  This new firm also has the ability to supervise water disposal, gas storage fields, as well as workover and P&A operations.  Our goal is to assist our customers through the entire life-cycle of their wells, from permitting to plugging.

The merger of Summit Energy Services and Schneider Energy Consulting is scheduled to close on January 1st, 2019 and will operate under the name Schneider Summit Services.

Jeff Schneider, President of Schneider Energy Consulting will continue to play a key role on the management team for years to come, with Sam Bradley VP of Operations.  “I am very excited about the future of Schneider Summit Services.  The Summit team brings forth experienced engineers, permitting staff and completions supervision, while the Schneider team provides highly experienced drilling & completions consultants,” said Jeff Schneider.

“We feel strongly that joining forces with the Schneider family will allow us to realize our strategic goals while providing our clients with an ability to provide true cradle-to-grave services.  The combination will also provide our 54 staff members with a larger client base by which to add value,” said Ben Pittsley, CEO. “In the coming days and weeks we will work together to meet with each one of our clients, staff and vendors as stakeholder retention through this process is crucial to our success.”
