Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has secured a turnkey supply contract from Italy-based Enel Group for the 90MW Talinay Oriente project in Chile.

The proposed project is located in the Limari province and will feature 30 Vestas V90 2.0MW turbines and 15 Vestas V100 2.0MW turbines.

Scope of the turnkey contract includes supply, installation and civil and electrical services at the Talinay Oriente project alongside a three year agreement for service and maintenance.

The project is scheduled for commissioning by the end of March 2013.
