Global solar PV modules and wafers manufacturer ReneSola will supply its 245W multicrystalline solar modules, totaling a capacity of 4.3MW for German power and gas company E.ON Climate & Renewables.

As per the agreed terms, the company will deploy the modules in March 2013 for E.ON’s solar project in Sassari, Italy.

ReneSola’s chief executive officer Xianshou Li noted that there is a demand for the company’s modules in Europe.

“The technology and reliability of our solar modules continue to attract new customers,” said Li.

The project is ReneSola first with E.ON with more orders from the US and Europe expected by the company.

“Meanwhile, we will continue to develop our solar technology, as we expand and strengthen our customer relationships, grow our module business and increase our global market share,” added Li.
