Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) has been awarded two orders to supply turbines for the Coyote and Oso Grande projects in the US.
Awarded by EDF Renewables North America, the contracts will see SGRE deliver its SG 4.5-145 wind turbines for the projects.
Coyote is a 241MW wind project in Texas and Oso Grande is a 246MW wind project located in New Mexico.

SGRE will be responsible for the supply of 48 SG 4.5-145 and 11 SWT-2.3-108 wind turbines to Coyote wind farm, which is expected to be completed by summer 2020. It will also supply 48 SG 4.5-145 and 13 SWT-2.3-108 wind turbines to the Oso Grande wind farm, which is scheduled to begin operations in the last quarter of 2020.

SGRE has also signed a service and maintenance agreement for the wind turbines.
