SunEnergy Europe is planning to complete the installation of 1.1MWp solar power park at the helth resort of Bad Salzungen in the federal state of Thuringia/Germany.

The company started work on the premises of a former landfill on 18 Nov 2011, and the facility is expected to be installed and ready for operation by the end of 2011.
The solar park is an investment project by Neue Energien Bad Salzungen, formed by E.ON Thuringer Energie and the municipality of Bad Salzungen.SunEnergy Europe acts as general contractor for the turn-key-installation.According to yield simulations, the solar power park at the health resort of Bad Salzungen will save about 600 tons carbondioxide compared to the use of fossil energy sources while providing electrical energy to meet the demand of about 300 households per year.
