Siemens Gamesa has announced that it has received a firm order to supply wind turbines to the consortium consisting of Nareva and ENEL Green Power for the Boujdour wind farm, located in the south of Morocco, with a total capacity of 301MW.

In a notice to the stock market, the company said the Boujdour wind farm is part of a 850MW tender in Morocco awarded to the consortium in 2016.

The order includes the supply, transport, installation, commissioning and testing of 87 units of the SG 3.4-132 wind turbine and a five-year service agreement.

It is expected to be commissioned by the third quarter of the financial year 2022.
