Teledyne FLIR, a Teledyne Technologies company, will present its gas leak detection, fire detection and continuous monitoring technologies at CEM and AQUAMATE Asia 2026, scheduled for November 17โ19 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia. At Booth 45, the company will demonstrate solutions designed to support industrial safety, emissions reduction and operational efficiency.
The exhibition will feature cameras for detecting gas leaks, systems for monitoring industrial assets and FLIR ADGiLE, a technology that combines automated monitoring with advanced AI analytics. Craig OโNeill, Global Director of Product and Market Strategy for Optical Gas Imaging at Teledyne FLIR, will deliver two presentations during the conference programme.
OโNeillโs first presentation, โA Decade of Quantitative Optical Gas Imaging Technology Advancements, Research and Field Use Cases,โ is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, at 10:00 in Room 1, during the Industrial Stack & Source Emissions session. His second presentation, โThe History of Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) in Emissions Monitoring: Shaping the Past to Leading the Future,โ will take place on Thursday, November 19, at 12:45 in Room 1, as part of the Fugitive, Methane & Process Monitoring session.
CEM Asia focuses on emissions and air quality monitoring, while AQUAMATE Asia covers water and wastewater monitoring. The events attract plant operators, environmental managers and regulators from across Asia and form part of the wider CEM conference series, which also holds events in Europe, Middle East and India.
At Booth 45, visitors will be able to examine the FLIR G-Series cameras and their applications in real-time gas leak detection. The Gx320 detects methane, other hydrocarbons and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and is certified for use in hazardous locations.
It can also quantify leaks directly through the camera, eliminating the need for a second device. The G306 is intended for electric utilities and detects sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), ammonia and ethylene, enabling teams to inspect substations for leaks without interrupting power delivery. Both models include built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and can connect to the FLIR Ignite cloud for image storage and sharing. The company will also demonstrate its Axx and Axxx-Series fixed-mount thermal cameras, which support condition monitoring and early fire detection.
Designed for continuous operation, the cameras monitor critical assets and alert operators to abnormal temperatures that could precede fires or unplanned downtime. They are built for harsh industrial environments across oil and gas, manufacturing and utilities. FLIR ADGiLE will also be presented as a turn-key solution connecting traditional handheld OGI technology with automated fixed systems to continuously monitor sites for methane and hydrocarbon emissions.
โCEM Asia gives us the opportunity to meet operators and regulators from across the region and show how optical gas imaging and continuous monitoring can help them detect leaks sooner and keep their sites safe,โ said Craig OโNeill, Global Director of Product and Market Strategy for Optical Gas Imaging, Teledyne FLIR.
