On April, 8-11th, 2013 in Moscow, CEC “Expocentre” will take place XI Moscow International Energy Forum (MIEF-2013) and exhibition  as “Russian Fuel & Energy Complex in the XXI century”, supported by the Ministry of  Energy of the Russian Federation and  the Ministry of Foreign affairs of the Russian Federation, profile committees of the State Duma and Council of  Federation of  the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, with the participation of  many authoritative international organizations. 

In 2013 the Organizing committee of the Moscow International Energy Forum (MIEF-2013) focuses participants` attention on a role of Russia in the international power policy, global power safety, problems of innovative development and modernization of Fuel and Energy Complex of Russia, expansion of the international cooperation, as one of the priority guidance of Fuel and Energy Complex after the accession of the Russian Federation to the WTO.

Within the framework of the Forum it is scheduled to hold a plenary discussion and several international conferences.  Federal and regional authorities  representatives of the state legislative and executive power of the Russian Federation, top-managers of the largest Russian and foreign energy sector companies, representatives of the influential international organizations, scientists of global renown and authoritative experts in the field of a sustainable development will traditionally take part in the program of the Forum.

“Russian Fuel & Energy Complex in the XXI century” exhibition will be organized within the MIEF-2013 in the territory of CEC “Expocentre”. The exposition will introduce drafts of the companies aimed at sustainable development implementation strategies. Traditionally exhibition mounts show the cutting edge innovative developments, items and the technologies aimed at increase of power efficiency and level of ecological safety in the energy sector and allied industries.

In the Forum will take part more than 2,000 managers and Directors of oil and gas, power and coal companies, representatives of the most authoritative international organizations of the European Union and the International Energy Agency.

In conducting activities MIEF is traditionally attended by over 200 representatives of  Legislative and Executive authorities of the Russian Federation, more than 30 embassies of the foreign states in Moscow, official delegations from more than half of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
