German solar developer ib vogt has collaborated with Chinese solar manufacturer Hanwha SolarOne to develop two solar PV projects in the UK.

The two projects include a 6.2MW park in Cornwall and a 9.8MW park in Kent, with combined power generation capacity of 16,300MWh of clean electricity every year.

ib vogt managing director Anton Milner¸ commenting on the alliance, stated that the alliance between the two companies represents open and direct communication, creating mutual trust.

“Through its reliable delivery and high-quality products, Hanwha SolarOne has proven to be a strong partner for our large-scale PV projects in the United Kingdom and in Germany,” added Milner.

Meanwhile, the two projects are expected to be connected to the grid in March 2013, leveraging the higher RO rate before 1 April.
