US-based solar panels manufacturer Solaria has extended its business to the Chinese market to meet the demands of the growing solar industry of the country.

Currently, the company is working on multi-MW solar projects in the Qinghai province and Inner Mongolia. One of these projects involves CECEP Solar Technology’s plant.

Solaria CEO Dan Shugar remarked that there is a huge push toward increasing the efficiency and reliability of solar power plants with the expanding solar industry of the country.

“Solaria’s state-of-the-art solar photovoltaic module technology, reliable tracking systems, and expertise in large-scale project development will be of great value as China moves toward renewable power,” added Shugar.

The company has introduced a low-cost solar module named STS-AZ in the Chinese market. It is said to be a ground-mounted with a single-axis vertical tracker to further PV energy production.

Solaria China business development director Zhao Defeng said: “Solaria’s expertise in ground-mounted, utility-scale projects brings new capabilities to the Chinese solar market.”
