German turbine manufacturer Nordex has secured two delivery and service contracts with wind farm developers Dost Enerji and Eksim Holding in Turkey.
Under the two contracts, Nordex will supply a total of 50 wind turbines for four wind projects in the country, reported Balkans.com.
The company is scheduled to deliver 38 N100/2500 turbines to Eksim Holding by autumn 2013. Of these total turbines, 20 will be used for Hasanbeyli wind farm in Eastern Turkey.
Remaining 18 2.5MW turbines will be installed at another wind farm at Silivri near Istanbul. Meanwhile, it will supply 12 N90/2500 turbines to Dost Enerji, of which one turbine will be added to the Yuntdag wind farm in Izmir, while, other 11 will be assembled at Geres wind farm.
Commenting on the contracts, Nordex management board stated that the company is delighted with its long-standing partners opting for its turbines again.
“This underscores the favourable experience which they have gained with our technology and skills. As well as this, it testifies to two superb partnerships precisely in the Turkish wind power market, which is characterised by strong growth potential and excellent wind conditions,” added the board.
