LONGi and China Huaneng Group Guizhou Branch entered into a strategic cooperation agreement to further expand the development of renewable energy. Tang Xuhui, Vice President of LONGi Solar and Geng Jie, Deputy General Manager of China Huaneng Group Guizhou Branch, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective companies.

Both parties agreed on comprehensive cooperation to develop and construct new energy projects, improve the allocation of energy sources in industrial parks, and jointly operate the multi-energy complementarity projects. As a leading solar photovoltaic technology company, LONGi will supply China Huaneng Group Guizhou Branch with advanced mono-crystalline modules that delivers lower LCOE solutions.

“The Guizhou Branch is actively responding to China Huaneng Group’s proposal to vigorously develop new energy and promote the large-scale and integration of new energy projects. We hope to strengthen the cooperation with LONGi and continue to deepen the cooperation space, achieve complementary advantages and win-win cooperation.” Geng Jie, Deputy General Manager of China Huaneng Group Guizhou Branch, said at the signing ceremony.

“Since 2016, LONGi has cooperated successfully with Huaneng Capital. Both sides have worked closely and made great achievements in the construction of renewable energy projects. We believe that LONGi’s technology and products will provide China Huaneng Group Guizhou Branch the best solutions in the development of their renewable energy projects.” Tang Xuhui, Vice President of LONGi Solar, added.

LONGi was an active partner in China Huaneng Group’s milestone projects such as their first monocrystalline photovoltaic power plant; their first 100 MW-level photovoltaic poverty alleviation power plant; and the first grid-connected national photovoltaic “Top Runner Programe”. The strategic cooperation agreement will provide strong support for the development of renewable energy, promote the large-scale application of clean energy, and contribute to the optimization of the grid.

China Huaneng Group Guizhou Branch, established in October 2016, it is a branch of China Huaneng Group and Huaneng International Power Co., Ltd. in Guizhou Province. It is mainly engaged in the development and construction of wind and photovoltaic energy projects. The company’s installed capacity of clean energy power is about 1.05 million kW, accounting for about 25% of the installed capacity of clean energy power in Guizhou Province.
